Peter Preaches To The Bewildered Crowd
As the crowds marveled at the disciples speaking in foreign tongues, some cynics began to mock them, claiming they were full of sweet wine. Peter explained that this miraculous outpouring was the direct fulfillment of the prophet Joel. He then fearlessly confronted the crowd with their guilt regarding the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth, before delivering the ultimate triumph: God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death.
